Returns & Refunds Policy

Faulty Goods 

Faulty goods are rare and due to the nature of African artefacts and hand made beads there are many idiosyncrasies. However, if you feel an item you have ordered is genuinely defective we will either credit or replace it and we will also refund the postage cost incurred by you in returning the goods. We will also refund the postage cost of the original order and we will not charge additional postage on any replacement goods. We can either credit any amounts to your account for later use or we can refund money to your credit card. Goods returned to us via regular post or express post are not insured and will not be replaced if lost.

The only exception to returning goods is earrings. Due to health regulations, earrings cannot be returned.

 

Returns Procedure

  1. Notify ethiopia.com.au either by email or telephone in the first instance within five business days of receipt of the product and post it back to us.
  2. Notify by email to: sales@ethiopia.com.au with the following details – your name, address, contact phone number, original order number, and reason for return. Items should be in the condition as originally received by you and securely packaged.
  3. Post the item back with sales receipt or number to ethiopia.com.au, PO Box 2088, Fitzroy, Victoria 3065, Australia.
  4. After receiving back the product, ethiopia.com.au will follow your instructions to either give you a full refund (including the cost of postage for receiving and returning the product); or send a replacement product at no additional postage charge.
